The Duke Energy Convention Center has been named a 2021 Center of Excellence by EXHIBITOR Magazine, an industry leading publication for trade shows and events.

Honoring North America's best convention centers for trade shows and events, the Centers of Excellence awards recognize the best large and small trade show venues based on a variety of criteria within five different categories.

The myriad criteria considered were categorized into five primary areas: Facility & Functionality, Location & Accomodations, Service & Execution, Expansions & Upgrades, Awards & Industry Participation

“I continue to be in awe of our staff and partners that help keep Cincinnati and the DECC in the national spotlight.  We work hard to provide a great experience for our clients, exhibitors, and attendees, and this award recognizes our determination to do just that," says Spectra's Ric Booth, General Manager of the Duke Energy Convention Center.

The DECC also was recently recognized as a Prime Site Award Winner by Facilities and Destinations magazine for the tenth consecutive year.

Duke Energy Convention Center has achieved Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation, the gold standard for prepared facilities. Under the guidance of GBAC, a Division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, Duke Energy Convention Center has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention in its facility.

The DECC's latest renovation project is sure to impress.  With the bright, airy atmosphere and the "on-trend" design, the Cafe is a great spot for attendees to enjoy a coffee, a light meal or a libation. 

Also on schedule is the completion of new wall fabric, carpet and painting of our second floor meeting rooms.

The DECC partnered with our on-site preferred AV provider, Prestige A/V and Creative Services, to establish a local broadcast studio at the Center.  Live from 525 can be activated for virtual presentations, keynote speeches, pre-taped interviews and more to stay engaged with your audience, on-site or virtually.
