Duke Energy Convention Center General Manager Receives the Facilities and Destinations Magazine 2016 Elite Award

Ric Booth receives prestigious award for excellence in the meetings and events industry for third year. 

Cincinnati, OH – Spectra Venue Management is pleased to announce that Ric Booth, General Manager of the Duke Energy Convention Center, has been selected as a recipient of the Facilities and Destinations Magazine 2016 Elite Award.

The Facilities and Destinations Magazine Elite Award was created by the publication to recognize executives making a difference in the meetings and events industry. Booth is one of 12 executives nominated for the award voted on by Facilities and Destinations Magazine readers. Award recipients are chosen for their service as strong economic engines for their communities, their ability to maintain fruitful relationships with partners and a commitment to ensuring their staff excels in customer service.

Booth is one of Spectra’s Venue Management’s most experienced leaders with over 23 years in the facilities management industry. Having served as General Manager of the DECC for 11 years, he has helped to create a culture of service and works to position Cincinnati as a host for international, national and regional conventions.

Booth is also involved in the community, serving on the Board of Trustees of Artworks Cincinnati.
